Georgia DOT announces a public information open house meeting to discuss the proposed widening of State Route 306/Keith Bridge Road from State Route 400 to east of SR 369 in Forsyth County. The open house is scheduled for Thursday, February 15th, 2007 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm.

This open house format meeting will be held in the Gym of Chattahoochee Elementary School located at 2800 Holtzclaw Rd. Georgia DOT engineers will be available to discuss the proposed project. There will be no formal presentation.

The project proposes widening this portion of SR 306 to a four lane divided highway with sidewalks on each side of the highway and a 24 foot wide concrete median.

Anyone unable to attend the public information open house may send comments on the project to Harvey Keepler, Georgia DOT, 3993 Aviation Circle, Atlanta, Georgia 30336. All comments will be considered in the development of the final project design and must be received by March 1, 2007.

After the open house, you can view the displays of the project at the Georgia DOT Area Office located at 2594 Gillsville Highway in Gainesville.
