Gardner Director of Communications 770.886.2802 JBGardner@forsythco.com FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE BOARD APPROVES RELIEF POLICY FOR WATER CUSTOMERS FORSYTH COUNTY, Georgia – During their work session held November 14, the Forsyth County Board of Commissioners moved to adopt a short-term relief policy for Forsyth County Water & Sewer customers who have experienced issues with water bills since recent implementation of the county's new tiered rate system. Under this short-term policy, water bills generated through October 31, 2006 will be capped at a maximum of $300 for the water portion of the bill (not including sewer charges). Late fees and interest will be waived through December 31, 2006. All reviews will be conducted on a case-by-case basis by the Water Department. Those customers who believe they have received a bill reflecting exorbitant charges or an unexplainable high volume of use should contact the Water & Sewer Department at 770.781.2160. ### Forsyth County Department of Communications 110 E.
